This is a 4-week, facilitator-led, synchronous and asynchronous online course available on Canvas. The course covers all aspects and considerations for online learning facilitators, whilst acknowledging the core facilitation skills at play. This course is suitable for both aspiring and experienced online facilitators. It aims to help seasoned facilitators to refine their ‘art and craft’ of online facilitation while allowing aspiring facilitators to hone essential skills for online facilitation. No matter who you are, you can hit the ground running once you complete the course.

Dr Chinh Nguyen


Chinh’s passion and interest are in the online learning and teaching transformation and consultancy across all levels of education and clients. He has strong experience in delivering seamless online education experience to student globally, ensuring the highest quality and engaging learning for students. He is known for bringing speed, quality, transparency, expertise in online program deliveries. He also has hands-on teaching experience in business and management at the Faculty of Business & Economics, the University of Melbourne.

Prior to working with Curio, Chinh coordinated academic programs at the LH Martin Institute for Tertiary Education Leadership and Management, at the University of Melbourne for global cohorts of online students from 45 countries for more than a decade. Chinh holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne and serves on the TEQSA Panel of Experts on business, management and digital education.

Dr Sirinut Sawatdeenarunat


Siri is an experienced educator with a passion for curriculum design and innovative learning experiences. She has over 10 years of experience in teaching and designing courses. Siri is known for the quality of her learning designs and excellence in teaching. Her teaching philosophy is to help learners “learn how to learn”. She believes that effective learning designs can help learners succeed in their future studies and in life. Prior to joining Curio, Siri worked as a Lecturer and Course Coordinator in Science Communication at the National University of Singapore and taught ESL/EFL courses at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Since joining Curio as a Learning Designer, Siri has been actively developing online courses for a range of programs including Open University Australia, graduate certificates and master’s degrees.
